Labor day is right around the corner which means Summer is quickly coming to an end. But, you know what they say, “where one thing ends, another begins.” And that couldn’t be more true in this case because, although Labor day is the end of the dog days of Summer it also marks the start of Georgia football.
This year, Georgia football’s first game is against Oregon at 3:30 PM on Saturday, September 3rd. And since that leaves plenty of time before the game to sneak in a round of golf, I figured it’d be fun to host a small golf tournament with myself and friends to allow us to sneak away from the girlfriends and wives to enjoy a little golf before we all get together to watch the dawgs put the smack down on the ducks.

$40 green fee + $5 tournament buy in
The tournament will be played in teams of two in a best ball style format where the winner takes all. Each player will get two shots off the first and tenth tee and one mulligan per nine holes that does not carry over or gain reward if it goes unused. Also, each payer at any time except while on the green may move his ball backwards or sideways 3 full club lengths in order to position themselves and their partner in the best ball lie possible.
$5 for tournament entry
$40 to prepay for green fees (optional)
