While boating this past weekend, my mom and I found this pretty cool sandbar. 

We put the boat in Betty’s Branch at 1 PM and got up to the dam about 1:30 – 1:35. When we got there, we noticed a huge log (circled in red in picture above). And when we got closer, we could see it was not just a log but a sandbar too. So we decided to stop the boat and eat our lunch. After lunch, we headed back and on our way we were lucky to dodge the weather because there were scattered showers all over.
